BUTTERFLIES AND ANGELS

I saw a butterfly out my window today.
I watched as it fluttered by, which made me smile.
It made me think that something so beautiful has wings.
How amazing that butterflies fly so peacefully and happy.
An angel touched me today and I felt at peace.
Angels are always around and will guide us to where we have to go.
We feel so much pain, but butterflies and angels are painless and free.
A friend is someone that comes into your life and touches in a-way that mere words can't describe.

OUR VERY SPECIAL ANGEL
Watching from a cloud so high
Seeing love from rose petals
And balloons that pass her by
She knows we truly love her
That we will always care
Our thoughts reach out to her
our hearts, our dreams to share

Our littlest angel who went back to heaven

Hold fast to your memories,
to all of the cherished moments of the past,
to the blessing and the laughter,
the joys and the celebrations,
the sorrows and the tears.
They all add up to a treasure of fond yesterdays
that you shared and spent together,
and they keep the one you loved
close to you in spirit and thought.
The special moments
and memories in your life
will never change.
They will always be in your heart,
today and
forever more.

The Stars
It shines so bright up in the heavenly night sky
but I bet you can never guess why?
It's because my grandma went up there
when she said goodbye.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED IN LIFE?

I've learned that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.
I've learned that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
I've learned that you can do something in a instant that will give you heartache for life.
I've learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
I've learned that you can keep going long after you can't.
I've learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you.
I've learned that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.
I've learned that money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I've learned that  my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.
I've learned that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me that right to be cruel.
I've learned that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.
I've learned  that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.
I've learned that your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.
I've learned that even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.
I've learned that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.
I've learned that the people you care about the most in life are taken from you too soon.

We stand together we wil not be divided.
Let the light of freedom burn from coast coast.
Be proud, stop what you're doing
Step out the door light a candle and hold it high tonight.

* 16 Minutes from Home

In 16 minutes we'd be home again,
in 16 minutes we'd be on American soil,
in 16 minutes we'd be united with family,
in 16 minutes we'd be done with the toil.

In a moment we knew we were in trouble,
in a moment we knew we were going away,
in a moment we knew we must say good-bye,
in a moment we knew it was time to pray.

In a second we felt the the love of God,
in a second we felt the wind of His wings,
in a second we felt the call to come home,
in a second we felt the joy He brings.

In an instant we were set free,
in an instant we were granted release,
in an instant we were in God's arms,
in an instant we were at perfect peace.

A Wish for You
I wish for you.....
Comfort on difficult days,
Smiles when sadness intrudes,
Rainbow to follow the clouds,
Laughter to kiss your lips
Sunsets to warm your hearts,
Gentle hugs when spirits sag,
Friendships to brighten your being,
Beauty for your eyes to see,
Confidence for when you doubt,
Faith so that you can believe,
Courage to know yourself,
Patience to accept the truth,
And love to complete your life.
And if you can't have all of that.....
Then I wish you enough chocolate to make
it through the tough times.

Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born. So one day he asked God:
"They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless? "
"Among the many angels, I will chose one for you. She will be waiting for you and will take care of you."
But tell me, here in Heaven, I don't do anything else but sing and smile, that's enough for me to be happy. "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you every day. And you will feel your angel's love and be happy."
And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me, if I don't know the language that men talk?
"Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."
And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?
"Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."
I've heard that on earth there are bad men. Who will protect me?
"Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life."
But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.
"Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you the way for you to come back to me, even though I will always be next to you."
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from earth could already be heard, and the child in a hurry asked softly,  "Oh God, if I am about to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."
"Your angel's name is of no importance, you will call your angel, Mommy."

A butterfly lights beside us, like a sunbeam...
and for a brief moment it's glory
and beauty belong to our world...
but then it flies on again, and although
we wish it could have stayed,
we are so thankful to have seen it at all.

Happiness is like a butterfly.
The more you chase it, the more it will
elude you. But if you turn your attention
to other things, it comes softly and
sits on your shoulder.

It's impossible to say
what a person feels
Knowing it's their last dy
The heartache I'm sure
is mostly for the living
The paradise is their to accept
Life may end on this plane
But other planes just beginng
To hold their hand one last time
To be at the momentof truth
Past is forgotten, ambivilence ignored
In the moment we hurt
In the abscence of lost love
Too manytime the burden left behind
To face sorrow alone
without a shoulder or arm
Rest down your weary body
may all find comfort and love in
Strong arms

Nine years ago we lost her
Out hearts were filled with pain
We knew we'd never see our little girl again
She sits upon her pink cloud
Her angel fave aglow
Her Papa's up there with her now
We know he had to go
They play in Heaven's garden now among the flowers there.
Picking pretty rosebuds with tender loving care
Laughter fills the garden as they look down from above
As they gather thoughts and kisses sent with all our love
One pink cloud the other whire move acrodd God's sky
And in our hearts we know we'll see out dear love ones by and by

DAUGHTERS AND FATHERS

Daughters and Fathers playing together in the sky
We think of them as clouds go by.
They are farawy behind heaven's gate
Missed by the ones the loved
Nine years for her six months for him to.
It just seems so unreal
Why did they go?
Our hearts are filled with saddness and it shows

SPECIAL ANGEL
Special Angel from above
Helping all the ones she loves
Knowing that she is always near
Drying all those weeping tears
